Cookie Policy

Which cookies this site sets, and your choice

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies Lavionic GmbH ("Lavionic," "we," "us," or "our") uses on https://wingman360.ai (the "Site"), what Google Analytics records if you accept it, and how to change your choice.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies help websites recognize your device and store information about your preferences or past actions.

Cookies can be "persistent" (remaining on your device until deleted or expired) or "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser).

3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Necessary Cookie

One cookie is strictly necessary: it remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so the banner does not ask again on every page. It holds nothing but that choice.

Cookie NamePurposeDuration
wingman_consentRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics6 months

3.2 Analytics Cookies

These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until then the Site loads nothing from Google and sends nothing to it.

Cookie NamePurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Analytics: a random ID that recognises a returning browser13 months
_ga_<ID>Google Analytics: keeps the state of the current visit13 months

We set no advertising cookies and use no advertising features.

3.3 Cookieless Visit Count

For every visitor, whether or not you accept, Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., the provider that hosts the Site) counts page views, the referring site, country, browser and device type. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not recognise you across visits or sites.

We use it on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how much the Site is used and keeping it working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. What Google Analytics Records

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. It records:

  • The pages you view, their titles, and the page you came from
  • The campaign tags in the link that brought you here (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and the like)
  • How far you scroll, clicks on links to other sites, and downloads of files such as the benchmark PDF
  • Which films you play and how far you watch them
  • That the contact form was shown and sent, and the topic you chose; never what you type into it
  • Device type, browser, screen size, language, and an approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store

Google Signals is off and no advertising features are used, so the data is not linked to a Google account or used for advertising. The data is kept for 14 months and then deleted.

5. Transfers Outside the EU

Google may process the data on servers in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on which such transfers are based (Art. 45 GDPR).

Google describes its own handling of the data here:

6. Your Cookie Choices

6.1 Cookie Banner

On your first visit, once you scroll down or after a few seconds, a cookie banner asks whether Google Analytics may run:

  • Accept: Google Analytics runs from that page on
  • Reject: nothing is sent to Google
  • Customize: switch analytics on or off yourself; it starts switched off

Closing the banner with the cross makes no choice, and nothing is sent; the banner asks again on your next visit.

You can change your mind at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of the pages, or here:

If you decline after accepting, Google Analytics stops at once and its cookies are deleted.

6.2 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can:

  • View and delete cookies
  • Block all cookies
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Clear cookies when you close your browser

Please note that blocking or deleting essential cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of our Site.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Protection and GDPR

Analytics cookies are set, and the data is processed, only with your consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). The consent cookie itself is strictly necessary to remember your choice (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding your personal data, including:

  • The right to access your data
  • The right to rectify inaccurate data
  • The right to erase your data
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object to processing
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time
