The points of the regulations that the guides and the solution pages rest on. Each page quotes the rule and its AMC or GM verbatim from the current consolidated text, says what the point means in practice, and names where Wingman360 Teammate meets it.

    21.A.15(b): the certification programme

    Point 21.A.15(b) lists what an application for a type certificate must contain: descriptive data, the intended use, and a certification programme with seven elements, from the description of the type design to the project schedule. The programme is the document a certification project is managed from, and the compliance matrix is its fifth element.

  • Regulation (EU) No 748/2012, Annex I (Part 21), Subpart B

    21.A.20: demonstration of compliance and the compliance documents

    Point 21.A.20 governs the demonstration of compliance once the certification programme is accepted: the applicant demonstrates compliance with the certification basis, provides the means by which it was demonstrated, reports difficulties that affect the risk assessment or the level of involvement, records the justifications in compliance documents, and declares compliance at the end. AMC 21.A.20(c) says what each compliance document contains.

    145.A.45: maintenance data

    Point 145.A.45 makes a maintenance organisation responsible for its maintenance data: hold and use applicable current data, record inaccurate or ambiguous data in the internal safety reporting scheme and tell its author, modify maintenance instructions only under a procedure in the MOE, transcribe data onto work cards, keep it available to the people doing the work and keep it up to date.

    CAMO.A.300: the continuing airworthiness management exposition (CAME)

    Point CAMO.A.300 prescribes the continuing airworthiness management exposition: fourteen items, from the accountable manager's signed statement to the list of alternative means of compliance; initial approval by the competent authority; amendment under the organisation's own procedures; and prior approval for the changes listed in point CAMO.A.130. AMC1 CAMO.A.300 gives the accepted layout, Parts 0 to 5.

    IS.I.OR.205: the information security risk assessment

    Point IS.I.OR.205 of Part-IS requires an organisation to identify every element and interface exposed to information security risk, to assess each risk for its potential impact on aviation safety with a predefined classification, to decide whether it is acceptable or must be treated under point IS.I.OR.210, and to review the assessment when elements, interfaces, knowledge or lessons learnt change.

  • Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 21, Subpart B

    14 CFR 21.20: compliance with applicable requirements

    Section 21.20 is the FAA's compliance requirement for a type certificate, including an amended or supplemental one: the applicant must show compliance with all applicable requirements, provide the FAA the means by which compliance was shown, and certify in a statement that it has complied. Section 21.17(a) fixes which requirements apply: those effective on the date of application, plus any special conditions.
